UI/UX Engineer  

         

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• 2+ years' experience designing interfaces for mobile and desktop
• Experience working in a React Environment would be an added advantage
• Proficiency in designing interfaces and building interactive prototypes using AdobeXD, Sketch, InVision, Axure, etc.
• Proficiency in designing tools, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Expert knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery and other front-end technologies and its best practices.
• Confidence and experience with A/B testing and user design testing
• A portfolio that demonstrates both UI/UX proficiency and understanding of design principles
• Eye for clean design and UX consistency across platforms
• A great attitude, collaborative spirit and openness to giving and receiving feedback
• Outstanding communication skills
• Experience working in an agile development process

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Come up with UI and UX strategies based on client needs
• Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code
• Work closely with users, clients, designers and engineers to define interface and user requirements
• Understand the limitations of our tech stack and business model and provide technical advice wherever necessary
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
